A one night only performance based fashion event featuring work by Alannah Kwant, Jpalm by Julia Palm, Crookedhood by Zoe Crook, Succulents, Antonia Rose Boyle and Severine Costa. It also included a series of collaborations with Phoebe Mackenzie, Kimmi Rindel and George Watson. Celebrity Solstice is a critique of the traditional way we engage with fashion, by subverting the exclusionary, mundane ‘display’ of fashion and the disparity between the consumer and the model. Celebrity Solstice is an exploration of digital culture and the way fashion can engage with these new forms of technology to communicate ideas, through an interactive spectacle.
