I am searching for a truth to my materials. How do the materials make me do what I do to them; how does process dictate form?

Currently, I have been making notes as I work with the intention of understanding what makes me do to a material, what I do.

Dissection is an integral part of my process that gets the ball rolling, so to speak, and a good place to start this line of investigation. Dissection is a founding and important part that is often over looked, buried or disguised by the fascination of the end construct or composition. Dissection is an ongoing investigation for me; continuously looking for different ways and tools I can utilise to fragmentise an existing object.
