HANDSHAKE 6

The HANDSHAKE 6 exhibition programme for 2020 – 2021:

The first exhibition is at TE AUAHA art gallery, 65 Dixon Street, Wellington, 28 October – 15 November, 2020.

The focus  of the HS6 artists in 2020 is primarily on experimental developments, with plenty of ideas’ exploration and experimentation.

Their first exhibition might include unresolved artwork that tries out fresh new ideas. The work for sale will have to be resolved and well-crafted.

The second exhibition end of 2021 will be at Pah Homestead, Auckland. This exhibition celebrates the two-year HS6 development of the twelve HS6 artist’s journeys.

The third exhibition will be an online exhibition. The platform is to contextualise jewellery ideas and processes. This online presentation attempts to break away from all known presentation methods (on the body or displayed). The digital platform invites for innovative ideas and experiments. Each HS6 artist submit for the  online exhibition(s).
